Many of our members know about the membership services, but our Policy, Campaign and Research work is often overlooked. The Chamber is the representative for the voice of business for Greater Manchester. Our team, including our CEO, often lobby government – both local and central – to improve the business conditions for our region.
With the results from the latest General Election – we’ve launched our Campaign for Business 2024 (A Plan for Growth), we’re also the designated ERB for the Local Skills Improvement Plan and every quarter, we run the UK’s biggest Economic Survey, feeding into the Mayor, Treasury and the Bank of England.
Our CEO also releases an Economic Outlook each month, this report covers everything from GDP to inflation, interest rates to the labour market, it’s a great indication of what is happening in the market.
